RICHIE MINERVINI HEADLINES RIVIERA COMEDY CLUB FEBRUARY 15 - 21

A veteran of stand-up comedy, Richie is the former owner of Long Island’s East Side Comedy Club. Besides keeping audiences in stitches on cruise ships and at various conventions and festivals, he also has many writing credits including head writer for Kevin James as the host of the 2001 and 2002 People’s Choice Awards.

Joining Richie for the week is Mike Merryfield. Watching Mike perform is like listening to a music aficionado’s iPod set to shuffle play. The songs bounce from style to style, yet they somehow seem to fit together. Mike has performed at the Boston International Comedy and Movie Festival and made his debut on XM and Sirius satellite radio.

Ron Babcock will complete this week’s comedic trio. Raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, Ron now makes Los Angels his home where he is a regular at the Hollywood Improv. Ron has performed in comedy clubs throughout the west. He won the 2009 Ventura Harbor Comedy Competition as well as the 2005 Phoenix New Times “Best Intentional Hilarity” Award for “Modest Proposal Presents…” Ron has also appeared in films “The Rush” and “The Barrel Brothers.”

Show times for the Riviera Comedy Club are 8:30 and 10 p.m. Tickets are $24.99 plus tax and fee. Ask about our dinner/show combinations. For more information call the Riviera Box Office at 877-892-7469, or go to www.rivierahotel.com. All guests must be at least 18 years of age.
